Anthony and Amanda O’Carroll have extensive experience working in the museum and cultural heritage sectors. With a passion to make collections discoverable, both Anthony and Amanda provide a multi-disciplinary approach to interpret and display collections through exhibitions and digital experiences online.Our Philosophy

Anthony and Amanda have over 17 years employment experience within the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museum sector. Both have undertaken study in the sector with postgraduate degrees in Fine Arts, as well as library, museum, and archives management training. Museum, Archives and Art Services provide specialist services for collecting institutions, corporate collections and private collectors.

Anthony is a highly dedicated and knowledgeable curator, researcher, and collections manager with a passion for preserving and showcasing museum, library, arts, and heritage collections. He excels in team environments and has been instrumental in the delivery of exhibitions, content development, digitisation initiatives, and online collection methodologies. Anthony is a skilled volunteer and internship coordinator and has successfully executed numerous project-oriented programs.With 17 years of experience in the Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museum sector, Anthony is a seasoned professional in his field and has a proven track record of effectively serving as a custodian, communicator, and interpreter of cultural collections.
Amanda O'Carroll
Co Director
Amanda brings over 18 years of experience in customer service, administration, and design to Museum, Archives and Art Services. With a diverse background in the Local Government sector and previous experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, Amanda excels in communication and delivering creative solutions to clients.In addition to her customer service skills, Amanda has a strong background in graphic design, image processing, and digital solutions. Her passion for information sharing and creative problem-solving drives her to stay at the forefront of innovation in the industry. Whether it's designing visually appealing materials, processing images to perfection, or finding new and innovative ways to bring projects to life, Amanda's design expertise makes her a valuable asset to the team.

Client: Little Company of Mary, Hurstville
Year: 2022
The Little Company of Mary's significant religious collections were digitised with the collaborative effort of Museum, Archives and Art Services and their Archives Manager. The collection consists of diverse items such as religious artefacts, textiles, sculptures, framed photographs and prints, artworks, and honour boards.
Client: Sports Memorabilia Australia
Year: 2022
Recently, Sports Memorabilia Australia commissioned Museum, Archives and Art Services to capture high-resolution images of both historic and modern era Wallabies jerseys for the publication of "The Official History of the Wallabies Jersey - The Journey to find Wallaby Gold" by Michael Fahey and Mark Cashman.Publication was released in November 2022.
Client: Briars at Greenlees Ltd, Concord
Year: 2021-2022
Museum, Archives and Art Services were engaged by Briars at Greenlees Ltd to display and interpret the Briars Sports Club collection within the club’s current premises located at 14 Ian Street, Concord.The project consisted of the following stages:1. Collection audit and management of stakeholder survey
2. Digitisation of the Briars Sports Memorabilia Collection
3. Exhibition Design
4. Exhibition Installation
5. Collection management, accessioning and digitisation of collection items
6. Creation of an online collections database accessible to members and patrons
Client: St George DRLFC, Kogarah
Year: 2020-2021
Museum, Archives, and Art Services were engaged by the St. George District Rugby League Football Club to preserve and promote the club's history. Our team digitised and catalogued their collections, established best practices for storage and preservation, and curated the "Spirit of the Red V" Museum dedicated to St. George Dragons history.Our digitisation strategy captured the collection in high resolution, making it suitable for various types of publication, including print, social media, and web distribution. The collection was also showcased in the publication "Spirit of the Red V: A Century of Dragons Rugby League (Vol's 1 & 2)" written by renowned sports journalist and author, Geoff Armstrong.During our presentation to the club's board, we effectively demonstrated the collection's value to the club's board members, players, sponsors, supporters, and the general public. Our services helped the club celebrate its unique history in the NRL and positioned the collection as a valuable asset for the club to utilise.The museum was officially launched on June 23rd, 2021 with media personnel in attendance for an exclusive preview.
